NOB- Suryapet news: On the occasion of the 5th death anniversary of Colonel Santosh Babu, a program was organized to commemorate the death of Colonel Santosh Babu in Suryapet district headquarters on 15.06.2025. District SP Narasimha IPS attended the program and paid tribute to the statue of Colonel Santosh Babu on behalf of the district police department. Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that he fought bravely as an army jawan and died in the defense of the country, and his sacrifice is priceless. Although his loss is very painful for his parents, wife and children, he said that recognizing, paying tribute to and remembering the sacrifice of Colonel Santosh Babu across the country is a comfort to the family. He said that citizens should take him as an example and work for the defense of the country. The youth are the future of the country. Such youth are today being weakened by bad addictions. The youth should take the sacrifice and courage of the Colonel as an example, he said. The Colonel’s family members, army officers, army jawans, welfare association, NCC students, citizens, urban dignitaries, and police personnel participated in this program.
