NOB_Kamareddy: Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Friday extensively toured Ward No. 15 and 16 of Kamareddy town, interacted directly with residents and enquired about their problems.

He directed the concerned officials to take immediate steps to resolve the issues raised by the public. Later, he laid the foundation stone for several development works, including CC road construction, in both wards.

Speaking on the occasion, Shabbir Ali said, “The development of Kamareddy town is my personal responsibility. True development is not just about big projects, but when basic amenities like roads, drainage, drinking water, sanitation, and street lights improve in every ward.”

He said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has been giving special focus to Kamareddy due to the bond he developed with the people here when he contested from Kamareddy.

“The love and affection shown by the people of Kamareddy to CM Revanth Reddy will never be forgotten by the government. That is why the government is giving special priority to take Kamareddy town forward on the path of development. We are taking up development works in many sectors including roads, drainages, drinking water, lake development, education, medical and sports infrastructure,” he said.

Shabbir Ali said after the Congress government came to power, it has been taking both development and welfare forward equally.

He listed welfare schemes like Indiramma Houses – with 4.50 lakh houses sanctioned in the first phase, free electricity up to 200 units, gas cylinder for Rs.500, free RTC bus travel for women, new ration cards, distribution of fine rice, and support to farmers.

“Congress government is not a government of words, but a government of deeds. We are implementing promises made to the people one by one. Welfare of the poor, development of farmers, economic empowerment of women, employment opportunities for youth, and strengthening of education and health sectors are our main goals,” he added.

He said the government is constantly striving to mobilize funds for the required development works in Kamareddy town and instructed officials to ensure that the works started in Ward 15 and 16 are completed quickly without any compromise on quality.

“Development of Kamareddy will not stop, and solving people’s problems will not stop. Congress government is a people’s government. Let’s all work together to develop Kamareddy into a more developed town as per the aspirations of the people,” he called upon.
