NOB-Suryapet news: In a statement, District SP Rahul Hegde IPS said that drinking alcohol and smoking (cigarettes) in public is a legal offence. The SP has warned that such unsocial activities are being monitored throughout the district and strict legal action will be taken against those who engage in unsocial activities like illegal sittings, public drinking and smoking of cigarettes. He reminded that there is a possibility that children will get used to such things and go on the wrong path. Therefore, everyone should have a social responsibility and should refrain from doing such things in public. He warned not to sell intoxicants like alcohol and tobacco products to minor children. He reminded that because of these, children get used to bad addictions and commit crimes and the future of children becomes dark.
