NOB_Burgampahad: A tragic incident was reported in Burgampadu mandal headquarters on Wednesday.

According to Burgampadu SI Meda Prasad, Sadhanala Nageswara Rao (39), a resident of Burgampahad village who was running a meat shop, was found dead on the outskirts of the village. Locals who noticed him informed his family members.

Police found a suicide note at the spot. In the note, it was reportedly mentioned that he had become addicted to betting due to the influence of a person from Asupaka village, Aswaraopet mandal, and had suffered severe financial losses, which led him to take the extreme step.

Based on a complaint filed by the deceased’s wife Madhavi on Wednesday, police have registered a case and are investigating.
