NOB_Vijayawada/Hyderabad: The shocking negligence of private travels operators has once again come to light, as they continue to play with the lives of passengers.

Even as heavy rains lashed the region, making roads extremely dangerous, several private bus drivers were caught driving under the influence of alcohol during surprise inspections by police and RTO officials.

Passengers expressed severe anger over the incident, questioning, “If buses are driven by drunk drivers at night during these heavy rains, what will happen to our lives?”

The timely action by the police and RTO officials who conducted the checks and exposed the reckless drivers has been appreciated by the public, with passengers thanking them for their vigilance.

Meanwhile, the public has made a strong appeal to the Telangana Government. They are urging the government to further tighten passenger safety and intensify vehicle checking, especially at border check-posts and routes where vehicles enter Telangana from Andhra Pradesh.

Citizens are demanding that strict legal action and harsh punishment be imposed on the private travels managements and drivers who violate safety norms and risk innocent lives.
