
NOB- Nepal news: Two minor earthquakes have occurred in Nepal. They were recorded as 5.5 and 5.2 on the Richter scale. The first earthquake was recorded at 8:07 pm on 04.04.2025 night with a magnitude of 5.2 according to Indian time in Jajarkot district.The National Earthquake Monitoring Center said that a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 occurred at 8:10 pm. The epicenter of the two earthquakes is in the Panik area of Jajarkot district, about 525 km west of Kathmandu.The tremors were felt in neighboring districts of western Nepal, including Surkhet, Dailekh and Calicut. Despite the intensity of the earthquakes, there is no immediate information about loss of life or significant damage. The effects of these earthquakes are also known to have affected North India.Earthquake tremors have been reported in several places in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
