NOB_Lord Ayyappa darshan for a minute

NOB- Sabarimala news: As part of the development of the Sabarimala temple, the officials have come up with a new design. As part of this, the flyover around the sanctum sanctorum will be removed. With this, devotees going with Irumudi will now be allowed to enter the sanctum sanctorum after climbing the sacred 18 steps. Till now, devotees were diverted to the left after climbing the steps. From there, they had to reach the sanctum sanctorum via a flyover that is 500 meters away. Now, with the removal of the bridge, you can have darshan of the Lord after climbing the steps. The Ayyappa temple will be opened for the Meenamasa pujas on March 14th 2025. Then, devotees going with Irumudi will be allowed to enter the path directly on either side of the flag pole after climbing the 18 steps. From there, one can directly reach the Ayyappa Sannidhi on the opposite side via Balikalpura (Kanikkavanchi-Naivedya Patra). Currently, after the flyover, the Ayyappa Sannidhi is allowed to be seen from the left side. Due to this, the darshan of the Lord was available only for two to three seconds when coming from the opposite side of the Sannidhanam. During the rush hour, the darshan of the Lord was not available at all. With the latest design, if you go from Kanikkavanchi, you will get the opportunity to see Ayyappa for 30 seconds to a minute. Kumbh Masa pujas are currently being held in Sabarimala. The temple will remain open till the 21st of February 2025. Work to remove the bridge, which was built in 1989 to control the rush of devotees, will begin from 17.02.2025.
