NOB- Hyderabad news: Authorities have seized a huge drug factory in Hyderabad. According to information, Maharashtra Crime Branch officials have launched a search operation in Cherlapalli in the city. The police who seized the drug factory seized drugs worth a total of Rs. 12 thousand crores. They also seized 32 thousand liters of raw material. A total of 13 people have been arrested. The authorities have busted the network of manufacturers and suppliers. They have revealed that drugs are being supplied across the country from there. During the police investigation, it was found that this racket is being run in the name of a chemical factory. The police recently arrested a Bangladeshi woman. It seems that these inspections were carried out on the information given by her. Currently, the factory officials and the police are conducting inspections Even though this factory has a license under the name of Vagdevi Labs the police said that drugs are being manufactured under its guise. Investigation revealed that the drugs produced in this factory were being supplied to several states including Maharashtra. IN Aughust 2025, Maharashtra police arrested 12 people, including a foreign woman. They seized 100 grams of drugs and Rs. 25 lakh in cash from them. It is learnt that searches were conducted in the city based on the information given by them. It is learnt that the accused include the factory owner Srinivas and his associate Tanaji Pathe.
