NOB- Miryalaguda news: Nalgonda district police cracked the sensational theft case at Vaishnavi Grand Restaurant in Miryalaguda, where ₹80 lakh was stolen on the night of September 5–6, 2025. Acting on the directions of SP Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS. Miryalaguda DSP Rajasekhar Raju led four special teams under CCS Inspector Jitender Reddy and Miryalaguda I Town Inspector M. Nagabhushan Rao. Using advanced technology, CCTV analysis, and interstate investigations across Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, police identified the culprits as part of a notorious Rajasthan based gang. Three accused Mohammed Rahim Khan (45), Iqbal Khan (35), and Lalu Khan (33), all from Jalore district, Rajasthan were arrested at Jaggaiahpeta. Police recovered ₹66.50 lakh cash, a Honda bike, screwdrivers, hammer, and three mobile phones. Investigations revealed that Rahim Khan had earlier worked at a tea stall near the restaurant, where he gathered information about its cash transactions. Along with his accomplices, he executed the theft and hid the stolen money at Jaggaiahpeta. SP Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS. appreciated the efforts of the Miryalaguda police teams and announced commendation certificates and rewards for the officers and staff involved.
