NOB- Hyderabad news: The Sleuths of Commissioner’s Task force, West Zone, Hyderabad, on credible information, apprehended (06) persons who were illegally importing e-cigarettes (Vapes) and banned foreign cigarettes from Dubai and the same was selling in the market gaining money illegally.

3. Mohd. Sami @ Mukram S/o Mohd. Hassan, age: 34 yrs, Occ: Auto Driver, R/o. Chota Bazar, Golconda, Hyderabad. (Wholesaler)
4. Mohd. Sohail Khan S/o Mohd. Khadeer Khan, age: 22 yrs, Occ: Pvt. Job, R/o.Near Adan School, Seven Tombs, Golconda, Hyderabad. (Retailer)

On credible information, Sohail Khan was initially apprehended at MLA Colony, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, while in possession of e-cigarettes. During enquiry, he stated that he had purchased the e-cigarettes from one person known as Sami @ Mukram. Later, Sami @ Mukram was apprehended, and he revealed that he had contacts with one person by name Abdullah Shetty, a native of Mumbai and a supplier of e-cigarettes and foreign cigarettes. Whenever the Abdullah Shetty came to Hyderabad he stays at Hotel at Lakdikapool, Hyderabad and supply the goods. Based on this information, Abdullah Shetty was apprehended along with other accused persons, who were dealers of e-cigarettes and foreign cigarettes. During enquiry, Abdullah Shetty stated that a few years back, he had come into contact with one person by name Martin @ Sohail and had made a deal with him to sell cigarettes. As per the arrangement, he received e-cigarettes and foreign cigarettes from Dubai through different persons, sent by Martin @ Sohail, and the same were supplied in the market to earn illegal profits by earnings Commericial Tax to the government. Moreover, the sale of E- Cigarettes are banned/ prohibited in Telangana. It was further revealed that accused persons Mohd. Tajuddin is a coordinator who look after the receiving and deliver the goods and Khaleel Ahmed used to supply the man power working under Martin @ Sohail. Recently, Mayank Bise, who had arrived in Hyderabad from Dubai, was brought the same consignment for delivery to Mohammed Tajuddin. The above apprehension was made by Ch. Yadender, Inspector of Police, West Zone, Commissioner’s Task Force with assistance of SI Mohd Jahed along with the team.
