On 20.04.2025 night, the police conducted drunk and drive checks at several intersections in Suryapet district centers under the leadership of the SI. 13 people were caught driving under the influence of alcohol by the traffic police. Later, when they were produced in court, three of the four were sentenced to two days in jail and one was sentenced to one day in jail with fine. The judge ruled that anyone driving under the influence of alcohol would face a fine of Rs. 8,000, the SI said.
