
NOB- Kodada news: Chedapangu Naresh, who worked as the social media coordinator in the camp office of former MLA of Kodad constituency, Bollam Mallaiah Yadav, and Marla Veerababu and Uppala Madhu, who worked as private PAs for EX MLA Bollam Mallaiah Yadav, were the ones who supervised the CMRF cheques related to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Seeing that the General Election Code was coming in November 2023, Naresh, Veera Babu, Madhu, who worked in the MLA camp office, and Suragani Rambabu, who was following them, maliciously set aside 44 CMRF checks in different names and got those checks revalidated and deposited in the accounts of other people with the same names. As part of this scheme, the 44 checks were revalidated by a person known to them, Guntuka Sandeep, who was working as a computer operator in Hyderabad, got the checks deposited in the accounts of people with the same names and got the money withdrawn through fake accounts without going to the beneficiaries. The money was shared by all. Chedapangu Naresh used to withdraw money from his friend Rangisetty Venkata Rao’s account, 6 undrawn cheques from Guntuka Sandeep, 5 cell phones used for the crime, and the remaining Rs. 9,30,000/- in cash was seized from fake accounts, the money withdrawn from banks by fraud is worth Rs. 13,63,000/-, the arrested accused will be remanded. Beneficiaries paid the price under the former MLA, private individuals working in the camp office changed the names of individuals for their own benefit and illegally drew cheques in the names of other individuals without the knowledge of the former MLA and committed this crime, DSP Sridhar Reddy, who supervised the speedy crackdown of this CMRF cheque case, Kodada Town Inspector K. Shiva Shankar, SI Hanuma Nayak, CCS Inspector Shiva Kumar, CCS Harikrishna, Head Constable Karnakar, , Srinivas, Saidulu, Anand, Mallesh, Satish, Shiva Krishna, Prabhakar, Head Constable Balthu Srinivas, Constables Yalla Reddy, Satish Naidu, Rambabu were congratulated by Suryapet District SP K. Narasimha IPS on this occasion.The SP presented rewards to the personnel who broke through the case. Details of the case in which the arrest was made Cr. (Total value of 44 cheques: Rs. 15,83,500/- out of which 8 cheques were withdrawn worth Rs. 2,20,500/- 36 cheques were withdrawn worth Rs. 13,63,000/- Total commission given to fake beneficiaries was Rs. 1,18,000/- Cash recovered from criminals was Rs. 9,30,000/- from A-1 Rs. 1,40,000/- , from A-2 Rs. 90,000/- from A-3 Rs. 2,50,000/- from A-4 Rs. 2,50,000/- from A-5 Rs. 2,00,000/-).
