NOB- Kuikyala news: District Collector Pamela Satpathi has issued an order suspending ZPHS Kurikyala Grade-2 Gazetted Principal T. Kamala from duty for failing to report the incident to higher authorities, concealing the facts and negligence in the incident of sexual harassment of girls by Office Subordinate Md. Yakub Pasha at Kurikyala Zilla Parishad High School in Gangadhara Mandal. Following the allegations that Office Subordinate Yakub Pasha had committed sexual harassment at Kurikyala Zilla Parishad High School, District Collector Pamela Satpathi immediately ordered a three-member team of officers to investigate. The investigating team submitted its report to the District Collector. The inquiry committee revealed in its report that Principal Kamala threatened the school staff to hide the incident, she ignored the safety of the students, and hid the facts by not informing the higher authorities about the incident. With this, the District Collector issued an order suspending the Principal of Kurikyala Zilla Parishad High School T. Kamala from duty. As long as the order is in effect, Principal Kamala was ordered not to leave the headquarters without prior permission. It is known that the office subordinate Yakub Pasha has already been suspended in this incident.
