NOB- Kanchipuram news: A Kanchipuram court on 24.07.2025 sentenced the mother and her boyfriend to life in prison who killed her children for her own pleasure. Chennai police arrested mother Abhirami and her boyfriend Meenakshi Sundaram in the case of killing 7-year-old Ajay and 4-year-old Karnika by mixing drugs in their milk on the pretext of preventing them from having an extramarital affair in 2018. After the crime was proven, the judge sentenced Abhirami and Sundaram to life imprisonment until death.
