NOB-Hyderabad news: As part of the ongoing efforts to combat the menace of cybercrimes, the Goshamahal Police conducted an extensive door-to-door awareness program on 11.04.2026 at Aziz Plaza and its surrounding commercial areas. The initiative was led by the Krishna Goud Addl. DCP, Golconda Zone, along with the Sravan Kumar SHO Goshamahal. The team, which included Sub-Inspectors Laxmaiah, Arunoday, and dedicated Cyber Warriors of Goshamahal PS, actively engaged with the local community. Approximately 20 members, including shop owners and residents, participated in the session.Key Objectives: 1. To educate citizens and trade shop owners on identifying phishing links and fraudulent calls was the key objective.2. To emphasize the importance of not sharing OTPs or personal banking details with strangers.3. To promote the use of the 1930 national cybercrime helpline for immediate reporting of financial frauds.4. The Goshamahal Police remains committed to ensuring a cyber-safe environment for all citizens through such grassroots-level engagement.
