NOB-Nizamabad news: The incident of a mother of a five-month-old daughter at Gonugopula village killed her daughter filled with grief. The mother was angry that her husband said that she was not paying attention to their daughter and that he had reprimanded her and so she killed the five-month-old baby in a drunken stupor. According to the details given by Bhimgal CI Satyanarayana Goud, the details of the incident are as follows. Gangoni Mallesh of Gonugopula village, reprimanded his wife Sirasu Ramya on the 07.07.2025 as she was not paying attention to their five-month-old daughter Shivani and then went out as part of his daily chores. In a fit of rage, the girl Shivani was suffocated to death by her mother thinking that her husband had reprimanded her because of her daughter Shivani. The accused’s husband complained to the police on the same day that his wife had killed their daughter. Based on his complaint, the police registered a case and started an investigation. On 08.07.2025, the accused was caught at the Bhimgal Government Hospital while she was fleeing. When the accused was questioned, she confessed to the crime of killing her daughter.Following this, the police arrested the accused Ramya and registered a case. Later, she was produced before the magistrate and the accused was sent to jail, said C. I Satyanarayana Goud.
