NOB- Suryapet news: Seven people were arrested for drunk driving and produced before the Suryapet Special Second Class Magistrate B Venkataramana on 28.03.2025, and one of them was sentenced to jail and six others were fined Rs. 8000. According to the details given by Suryapet Traffic SI R. Sairam, on the evening of March 27th 2025, under the leadership of Traffic SI R Sairam, the traffic staff conducted a drunk driving operation in various areas of Suryapet town and arrested seven people. They were produced before the Suryapet Special Second Class Magistrate B Venkataramana on 28.03.2025. The judge issued orders imposing a two-day jail sentence on one of them and a fine of Rs. 1,000 each on the rest. Speaking on the occasion, Suryapet Traffic SI R. Sairam advised motorists not to drive after consuming alcohol.
