NOB- Mahabubabad news: On 05.03.2025, a meeting was held at the main conference hall of the District Collectorate with Additional Collectors (Local Bodies), (Revenue), Lenin Vatsal Toppo, K. Veerabrahmachari, and concerned officials. On this occasion, the Collector said that applications have been received from across the state under LRS – 2020. Some applications have been regularized as per the guidelines issued in September 2024. The government has taken some new decisions to facilitate the LRS process. He said that regularization can be done by paying a fee at the time of LRS plot registration. He said that if LRS applications up to 1 lakh 90 thousand are regularized by March 31^st 2025, there will be a 25% exemption on the fee to be paid. He said that new applications will be collected in the prescribed format through the sub-register and the details will be sent to the municipal department for LRS and regularized. Everyone must regularize. He said that he has availed the opportunity provided by the government till the 31st of March 2025 and got a 25% discount. The scrutiny of the applications of those who applied for LRS by paying Rs. 1000/- in the year 2020 has begun. Those who want to regularize their plots will be charged an application fee in LRS according to the valuation of the plots registered. This will benefit those who have applied in LRS. Those who have applied in the year 2020 can contact their respective municipal and related offices and regularize their plots. The opportunity provided by the state government to regularize unauthorized layouts should be utilized. If you have any doubts or difficulties, you should contact the help desk in the relevant municipal and gram panchayat offices, and all eligible people in the district should regularize their plots within the deadline.
