
NOB-Sriharikota news: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has finalized the time for its 100th rocket launch. The launch will take place from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SHARC) in Sriharikota, Tirupati district.ISRO will launch the GSLV-F15 rocket at 6:23 am on January 29, 2025, and will send the NVS-02 satellite into space as part of the country’s Navigation Satellite System (NAVIC).At the second launch pad in SHARC, scientists have completed the three stage connection process to move the rocket to the launch pad. Now, the process of installing the NVS-02 satellite on the top has also been completed successfully.Through this launch, this satellite related to the NAVIC system will provide crucial information for the country’s aviation, shipping routes and military needs. NAVIC is an indigenous regional navigation satellite system developed in India. It can provide accurate and fast information even outside Indian territory up to 1500 km.With this launch, ISRO is going to take another key step in Indian space research, especially considering the importance of navigation and safety systems. With this launch being marked as ISRO’s 100th rocket launch, large scale arrangements are being made for various programs in SHARC.
