They protested to the collector demanding that the cook be changed in the Jagityal Arepalli school. They were going to go on the rampage in Prajavani, saying that there were worms and hair in the rice, that they were served tasteless rice, and that the cooks were threatening them no one will listen to their complaints. They complained to the authorities for four months, but no action was taken. They went to the Prajavani auditorium and complained to the collector. They were then made to sit on the road.
