Kovelamudi Ravindra was elected as the mayor of Guntur.Ravindra, who strengthened the alliance, got 34 votes, and Venkat Reddy, who was supported by YSRCP, got 27 votes. Kuppam also held the election for the chairman of Kuppam Municipality in Chittoor district for the TDP.Fifth ward councilor Selvaraj was nominated as the TDP candidate, while Hafeez was nominated by YSRCP. Selvaraj got 15 votes and Hafeez got 9 votes. With this, Selvaraj was declared the winner.
