
NOB- Dharmapuri News:The women of Dharmapuri Town under the leadership of the Congress Party protested by fetching water from the Godavari River in Dharmapuri and washing the statue of Telangana Thalli , demanding immediate and permanent solution to the problem due to the lack of proper water supply by Mission Bhagiratha in Dharmapuri.
Dharmapuri Municipal Floor Leader Vemula Nagalakshmi spoke on this occasion. If they want to protest about the water problem faced by the people of Dharmapuri, they strongly condemn the illegal arrest of the Congress party leaders by using the police in this way. It is stated that there is no democratic rule in Dharmapuri, only aristocratic rule is running, and no response has been received so far after bringing the water problem faced by the people of Dharmapuri to the attention of the district collector and the municipal authorities for the past four years. He said that even though there is Godavari next to it, the people of Dharmapuri have to struggle for water, and even now they are protesting by washing the statue of Telangana Tahalli with Godavari water to make the authorities understand the plight of women. On this occasion, they demanded a permanent solution to the issue of water supply to the people of Dharmapuri.
