NOB-Suryapet news: SP Rahul Hegde IPS along with Additional SP Nageswara Rao and Trainee IPS officer Rajesh held a monthly review meeting of police officials at the district police office on 27.02.2024. To discuss and make suggestions on matters such as registration of cases, investigation of cases, pending cases, court duties, execution of sentences in cases, quality of investigation, CCTNS on-line, police work departments, staff response to dial 100 complaints, petition management system, rejection management etc.,

The SP directed the SIs and CIs to dispose of the long pending cases quickly and the cases of missing dead bodies expeditiously. He said that DSPs should monitor regularly. He said that people should be made aware of social issues, harms caused by cannabis and protection from cyber frauds. He ordered that work should be done according to the plan for the prevention of road accidents. Good relations with people should be maintained and awareness programs should be organized on social issues. Continuous efforts should be made for the prevention of cannabis, public participation in the prevention of cannabis. Anti-drug committees should be formed in educational institutions. He asked that the youth should be made aware of the dangers of cannabis. He said that all the staff should be ready for the upcoming elections and planning should be done before the election, and the SP asked that the police station should conduct roll calls every day and give instructions to the staff on the conduct of the elections.

SP said that criminals are being punished in many cases in the district. The SP said that he appreciates all the staff that the conviction rate has increased as we are conducting quality investigations and submitting criminal charge sheets to the courts quickly. On this occasion, in the POCSO Act cases registered under the jurisdiction of Nereducharla and Mothe police stations, two criminals were sentenced to life imprisonment in the past, SP gave letters of appreciation to the Barosa Center woman SI, court constables and the staff of Barosa Center who worked to implement the life imprisonment orders. Maunika, ASI Saidabi, Nereduchar PS Court Constable Lingaiah and Mothe PS Constable Ravinder have received appreciation certificates. Silver Medal in All India Police Duty Meet for Narcotic Dog Rolex

On the 16th of February 2024, during the 67th All India Police Duty Meet held at Lucknow, Narcotics Dog Rolex of Suryapet District Police won the Silver Medal in the detection of narcotics by showing the best performance. For this on 27.02.2024, District SP Rahul Hegde gave medal to the dog Rolex in his office. Later, he congratulated the dog handler Satish and the officers in charge.
