NOB- Bengaluru news: The incident of murdering a girlfriend in Delhi and dismembering her body and putting it in a fridge has created a stir across the country. Now a similar incident has come to light in Bengaluru. An incident where a woman’s body was cut and put in a water drum caused a stir. Locals were shocked after a woman’s body was found in a drum in KR Puram area of Bengaluru. The people of KR Puram in the most congested city of Bengaluru were shocked when the incident of dismembered body of a woman being dumped in a drum came to light. They dumped the woman’s body in a drum in a vacant lot near an abandoned house and ran away. KR Puram police officials in Bengaluru said that the murdered woman has been identified as Saseelam alias Sushila. A woman named Sushilamma lives on rent in a flat near Nisarga Layout near KRpuram. Bengaluru East Additional Commissioner Raman Gupta, who investigated the case, told the media that her two children and some other relatives were living with the deceased Sushilamma. Police say the assailants who killed Sushilamma chopped off her arms, legs and body parts.

The accused filled the body parts of Sushilamma in a drum and left it in a local empty space. Locals informed the police as foul smell was coming from the vacant lot. After receiving the complaint, the KR Puram police reached the spot and investigated. At first, the police thought that someone had killed a woman and stuffed the body in a drum and left. Later it came to light that the murdered woman’s name was Sushilamma Suspecting that Sushilamma may have been murdered on 25.02.2024, the police officers inspected the scene and collected evidence. The police officers have taken up investigation in all aspects regarding this case. Police officials said that the investigation is going on and they are working to nab the accused as soon as possible.
