NOB- Uttar Pradesh news: Upon investigating missing person cases under the name Rahul, it was revealed that a woman named Ruby had filed a complaint on November 24^th 2025 stating that her husband Rahul was missing. The police summoned her and showed her the clothes found next to the torso. But the cunning wife, without any hesitation, said, “These are not my husband’s.” However, suspicious of her behaviour, the police seized her mobile phone and examined it. While the police were searching Ruby’s phone gallery, they found a photo. In it, they confirmed that the T-shirt worn by her husband Rahul and the T-shirt found in the bag were the same. When confronted with the photo and questioned intensely, Ruby confessed to the truth. Ruby was having an extramarital affair with a man named Gaurav. On the night of November 17^th 2025, Ruby invited her lover to her house. At the same time, her husband Rahul unexpectedly arrived and found them in a compromising situation. A fight ensued, and Ruby and Gaurav together struck Rahul forcefully on the head, killing him on the spot. To cover up the crime, the next day they brought in a cutting machine and dismembered Rahul’s body. They put the body parts in a bag and threw them into the Ganges River, about 50 kilometers away. They put the torso in another bag and dumped it outside the village. To avoid suspicion, a week later, Ruby herself went to the police and filed a complaint that her husband was missing. The police have recently recovered the cutting machine. Ruby and her lover Gaurav have been arrested and sent to jail. The search for the remaining body parts thrown into the river is ongoing.
