NOB-Mahabubabad news: On 01.04.2025, a complaint was received regarding the death of a male near Boring Thanda under the Mahabubabad Rural Police Station limits. A murder case was registered and an investigation was started on the complaint that a man named Parthasarathi was killed by unknown persons. As part of the investigation, it was revealed that Parthasarathi’s wife Swapna and a government teacher named Venkata Vidyasagar were acquainted and had an illicit relationship. They tried to resolve the matter in the presence of elders, but both of them continued the relationship. In this regard, the husband and wife had quarreled many times and did not listen to the warnings. We informed them that we have suspicions against them, and as part of that, Swapna and Sagar were interrogated on 03.04.2025 and they confessed to the crime. As part of the crime, both of them were interrogated in this matter and they had been continuing their relationship for many years. In the meantime, Swapna’s husband, the deceased, was working in a government job in Dhanthapalli in Mahabubabad district. In order to prevent him from getting away with his wife, he suspected her and harassed her on video calls. Swapna and Sagar, with the help of Vinay Kumar, Shivshankar and Vamsi, agreed to give five lakh rupees as supari to kill Parthasarathi. As part of this, Sagar had come to Kothagudem on March 28th 2025 for Ugadi holidays and from there he was going back to Dhanthapalli to join duty on March 31st 2025. Swapna, the wife of Parthasarathi, informed Sagar about this matter over the phone. Sagar gave him an Innova Crysta van and some money and sent him to kill him. It was learned during the investigation that they were murdered near Boring Thanda after they crossed Mahabubabad. Currently, Thati Swapna and Venkata Vidyasagar have been arrested. Police teams are searching for the rest. The SP congratulated Mahabubabad DSC N. Tirupati Rao, Mahabubabad Rural CI P. Sarvayya, Bayyaram CI B. Ravikumar, Gudur CI G. Suryaprakash, SB CI Chandramouli, CCS SEI Hathiram and Mahabubabad Rural SI, V. Deepika, Gudur SI B. Giridhar Reddy, Kesamudram, Bayyaram, Kuravi SIs, IT core staff and other police personnel for their swift response and initiative in arresting them.
