Srinivasulu revealed the details of the case at a media conference. Thinking that the husband was an obstacle to extramarital affair: Ramulu (35) of Sripuram village in the district worked as a plumber and lived with his wife Manasa (35) and three children. 6 months ago, gold ornaments were stolen from their house. Manasa, wanting to know who the thieves were, went to Suresh Goud (27), a soothsayer from Pedda Muddunuru village in Nagarkurnool mandal. From there, the intimacy between the two grew and turned into an extramarital affair. Her husband Ramulu became suspicious of this relationship and started having frequent fights with his wife. Thinking that if her husband was alive, he would be an obstacle to their extramarital affair, Manasa and her boyfriend Suresh Goud hatched a plan to kill Ramulu. Manasa asked her boyfriend to kill him because her husband was an obstacle to their relationship. Suresh Goud had entered into a contract with his employees, Bal Peer and Hanumanthu, for Rs. 2.80 lakhs to have Ramulu killed. On 08.10.2025, Manasa left saying that she was getting married at her ancestral home. At the same time, she thought that if she killed her husband, no one would suspect her. Ramulu was called to Pedda Muddunuru village and Suresh Goud, Bal Peer and Hanumanthu made him drink alcohol. They tied tape across Ramulu’s nose and mouth to prevent him from breathing. Later, the body was thrown on the road, injured and made to look like a road accident. They tried to escape this murder The locals who saw Ramulu’s body lying on the side of the road informed the family members. Ramulu’s father, who inspected the scene, became suspicious and complained to the police. There was an illicit relationship between Manasa and Suresh, there had been fights for some time, and the parents of the deceased had suspicions about Manasa’s behavior, so they complained to the police. The police, who registered a case and conducted an investigation, concluded that it was not an accidental death based on the postmortem report. The doctors revealed that Ramulu died of suffocation. During the police investigation, Manasa, Suresh Goud, Bal Peeru and Hanumanthu finally confessed to the murder. The police arrested the accused and produced them in court and sent them to remand.
