NOB- Sircilla news: District SP said that yoga is a valuable gift given by India’s ancient heritage for the complete health of people all over the world, with yoga one can master mental, physical health and have peaceful life. On the occasion of International Yoga Day, International Yoga Day celebrations were held at Bathukamma Ghat on 21.06.2024 under the District Police Department grandly. Speaking on this occasion, the District SP said that, officers and staff who are always busy as a part of maintaining peace and security are insisted to take care of their health by regularly practicing yoga. Officers and staff are suffering from many types of illnesses due to being constantly in the performance of their duties, only if the officers and staff are healthy, they can serve the people effectively.

He said that like the universal values ​​proposed by India, yoga also teaches a universal concept and a worldly perspective. People in all countries have realized the power and importance of yoga and brought it into use. Unlike other exercises, yoga is the only way to get physical health and mental balance anywhere, without the need for any exercise equipment and at no cost. Yoga can lead to a better life, excellent physical, mental and spiritual health and better thoughts. Officials and staff asked that by making yoga a part of daily life, they can lead a happy life. He said that if everyone does yoga for half an hour or an hour every day, most of the lifestyle diseases can be avoided. He said they will have a peaceful life without stress and worry. The SP, officers and staff performed yoga exercises along with the yoga instructors.
