NOB- Telangana news: It is known that the Telangana government is releasing Rythu Bharosa funds. The government has come forward to provide financial assistance of Rs. 12 thousand per acre under Rythu Bharosa for this year’s Kharif season. The first installment of Rythu Bharosa funds has been deposited in the accounts of farmers up to ten acres till 21.06.2025. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that the Telangana government is ready to provide financial assistance of Rs. 9 thousand crore to farmers under Rythu Bharosa. Moreover, those eligible for Rythu Bharosa and those who have not received money in their accounts and who have obtained land ownership rights till June 5th 2025 should also apply for Rythu Bharosa, Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao said. It is known that the opportunity has been given until June 20th 2025 to apply. The deadline to apply for Rythu Bharosa ended 20.06.2025. Agriculture department officials said that 1.40 lakh farmers across the state have newly joined the Rythu Bharosa. All of them have applied for this Kharif season. However, the Telangana government has decided to pay Rythu Bharosa to those who submitted their certificates within the given deadline. With this, the newly registered farmers will also be paid Rythu Bharosa, regardless of the acres, said agriculture department officials. Meanwhile, the Revanth Sarkar government has started the Rythu Bharosa program from 16.06.2025. Since then, the Rythu Bharosa funds are being deposited by increasing it by one acre every day. By 20.06.2025, Rythu Bharosa funds were deposited up to 7 acres. On 21.06.2025, funds were deposited in the accounts of the farmers up to 10 acres. However, it is said that there is a possibility of paying Rythu Bharosa money to new farmers only after the payments related to the old farmers are completed. However, it is not clear whether they will also be credited with money acre-wise or whether the funds will be deposited according to the amount of land in their names in the accounts of all the new ones. Minister Tummala revealed that Rs.906 crores were deposited in the accounts of 2.64 lakh farmers on 20.06.2025. He said that so far 65.12 lakh farmers have received the farmer assurance assistance. He explained that the farmer assurance assistance is being provided without imposing any limit.
