NOB- Vikarabad news: Despite State DGP Shivadhar Reddy’s repeated insistence that police officials must act with integrity in the discharge of their duties, the unchanging attitude of a few individuals continues to tarnish the reputation of the police department. In the latest incident, the Inspector and Sub-Inspector of the Vikarabad Women’s Police Station were caught by ACB. Consequently, the number of police personnel apprehended by the ACB within a span of just one month has risen to eight. According to Rangareddy Range ACB DSP Anand Kumar and details provided by the victims, a woman filed a case under Section 498A against her husband, Irshad, a resident of Tandur. In connection with this dowry harassment case, CI Saroja and SI Rani of the Vikarabad Women’s Police Station demanded a bribe of Rs.60,000 to grant station bail to six individuals involved in the matter.
