Entry of SARS-COV-2 to brain from nose

COVID-19 patents have reported neurological symptoms like

Loss of smell, taste

Headache

Fatigue

Nausea

Vomiting

Acute cerebrovascular disease

Impaired consciousness

These symptoms are due to the presence of COVID-19 viral RNA in the brain and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) has reported by the scientific team from Germany. They have found the RNA of virus SARS-COV-2 in nasopharynx and brain of dead patients with COVID-19 which was published in Nature Neuroscience “ Olfactory transmucosal SARS-COV-2 invasion as a port of central nervous systems entry in individuals with COVID-19.”

On 33 dead patients with COVID-19 within 31 days of infection, the RNA particles were found in various important regions of their brain like respiratory (controlling lungs), cardiovascular (controlling heart) as reported by Frank Heppner, MD, Professor in the department of neuropathology.
