NOB – Hyderabad news: Cyberabad police arrested two fake IPS officers in Hyderabad. It was found that many people were cheated by claiming to be IPS. It was found that many people were cheated by saying that they would give them jobs. Finally, the fake IPS gang was exposed when the victims approached the police. The police arrested the persons and registered a case. The investigation is going on in the sense that they have been continuing this crime since time immemorial.
Ram from Banjara Hills turned into a fake IPS officer. Claiming to be an IPS officer, he committed frauds in Telangana and other states. He ensnared many innocent people in the name of jobs, central government posts and settlements. Also, he took money from many people and boasted that he would give Jaguar cars at the lowest price. Claiming that he is a special police officer, he continues the attacks. He opened an office in Cyberabad and continued his illegal activities from there. He is doing things like calling all the victims to the office and making settlements and torturing the victims in the name of investigation. He gave a build-up to the IPS in the name of guns, police vehicles and sirens. Recently, a woman from Hyderabad was trapped and taken to Jharkhand. He took Rs.9 lakh from her and left it there.
She then lodged a complaint with the Jharkhand Police, who informed the Hyderabad Police. With this, Hyderabad police investigated and the case of fake IPS came to light. Police have already identified six cases against him in different areas. Police have detained Ram and are interrogating him. He was identified as a person from West Godavari district. Police said that although he is a Telugu man, he has learned Hindi well. It has been revealed that many people have been cheated across the country. Also, the police found that he has created many celebrities fake photos pretending to be their acquaintances. Along with MS Dhoni, he made fake photos with many celebrities. With these photos, he made people to believe that he was a senior IPS officer and had contacts with many celebrities. Police say that the accused has committed many such frauds. The accused was arrested and taken into police custody.
