DSP Prakash said that the accused Shivratri Naresh and Shivratri Bhagyaraj were arrested in the murder case that took place in Rajaram village of Mallyala mandal on the 9th, April, 2023 night. According to the details of DSP Prakash, the accused brothers Shivratri Naresh and Shivratri Bhagyaraj, victim Gurram Praveen, had a land dispute in the past, and a fight broke out in Kunchapu Naveen’s house in Rajaram when the victim urinated in front of the house of the accused. However, although a compromise was reached in the presence of the gentlemen, the accused went to Praveen who was drinking alcohol with his friends in the suburbs of Rajaram on 09.04.2023 and hit him on the head with a stick and hit the victim with a stone on his head, DSP said. However, the DSP said that Gurram Venkatesh and Bodasu Rajasekhar, who are friends of the victim, stood and watched as the accused threatened to kill them if they stopped them during the attack. He said that the accused have been arrested and sent to remand. Mallya’s CI Ramanamurthy and CSI Chiranjeevi participated in this meeting. Meanwhile, the DSP congratulated Mallya’s SI Chiranjeevi, ASI Krishnakumar and the police personnel who worked hard in the murder case.
