All the parties are struggling to win the Karnataka elections. As if victory is ours, the votes are showing their majesty. Who will be crowned by the voters will be known by 13.05.2023 that is by Saturday afternoon. The party says that the exit polls are in favor of the Congress and the voting pattern is also in favor of the Congress. On the other hand, all parties are discussing what to do in case of mixed results. Will JDS become king maker once again?
Many exit polls have predicted that no party will get an absolute majority in the Karnataka assembly elections and there are indications of a hangover. Against this background, JD(S) is getting offers from Congress and BJP, the president of that party HD Kumaraswamy said. Immediately after the polling, Kumaraswamy along with his family went to Singapore on 10.05.2023 night. A senior leader of JDS revealed that the decision of which party to go with has already been taken. It is reported that some leaders of BJP have already held preliminary talks with JDS.
In line with this, Kumaraswamy will go to Singapore and there will be a meeting with the representatives of Prime Minister Modi. In this order, JDS senior leader Tanveer Ahmed said that “We have already taken a decision. We will announce it at the right time,” .However, the BJP has denied the ongoing campaign of contacting the JDS. They expressed confidence that they will come to power with a clear majority. BJP leader Shobha Karandlaje said, “There is no question of a coalition. We have not contacted JDS. According to the reports and information received from the workers at the field level after the polling, we will get 120 seats for sure.” When JDS leader Tanveer was questioned about this, he reiterated that BJP leaders had consulted with us about government formation.
Both the parties (Congress and BJP) approached us. JDS is in a situation where parties want to go to us. People of Karnataka want to check two national parties for the development of the state. I don’t think there is any reason why a regional party should not work for the development of Karnataka.” Answering the question about which party he will go with, he explained that he will go with the party that works for the upliftment of Karnataka and Kannadigas. When asked whether it is clear how many seats your party will win. No one can form the government without us. I think this is a good number. We cannot match the resources of the national parties in terms of money, strength and force, we are weak. But we know that we have done enough to be a part of the government.
