Kamareddy / Bibipet (NOB): A Mission Bhagiratha pipeline has burst on the main R&B road leading from Bibipet mandal headquarters to Tujalpur, causing drinking water to overflow onto the road.

The issue was inspected today at 8:30 AM by Korivi Narasimhulu, husband of Bibipet former MPTC Korivi Neeraja and Kamareddy District Mudiraj General Secretary. He interacted with colony residents and inquired about their problems.

He expressed concern that as vehicles are passing over the stagnant drinking water on the road, various bacteria and germs are mixing with the water. Consuming this contaminated water could lead to viral fevers and other diseases, he warned. He alleged that despite informing officials several times, no action has been taken, which is painful.

He demanded that the Gram Panchayat staff and R&B department staff take immediate action to fix the leakage. He said that if people fall ill after drinking this water, the full responsibility will lie with the Gram Panchayat and government officials.

In the wake of Government Advisor Mohammed Shabbir Ali’s visit to Bibipet tomorrow, he urged Sarpanches and villagers from surrounding villages to pass resolutions and bring to his notice not only this issue but also other long-pending demands like the four-lane road from Bibipet Daba Bangla to HP Petrol Bunk to prevent accidents, construction of a Mini Tank Bund, and expansion of the Sunday Market.
