NOB-Delhi news: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), which is receiving praise from the world for its successive successes, is preparing for key experiments next year. The central government has revealed to the Rajya Sabha that 10 important experiments will be carried out in 2024.

This includes 6 PSLV launches, 3 GSLV and one Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (LVM 3) mission. Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh has given a written answer to the questions asked by the members. Besides, he said that a satellite will be experimentally sent to space by the new launch vehicle SSLV (Small Satellite Launch Vehicle) developed by ISRO.

It is known that India is undertaking a prestigious mission in the name of ‘Gaganyan’. As part of this, ISRO is planning to undertake an unmanned mission to confirm the orbital module, said Jitender Singh. In addition, he explained that another experiment will be conducted to validate the ‘Crew Escape System’ developed to enable the safe escape of astronauts in Gaganyan in emergency situations.

The 6 satellites expected to be launched by PSLV in 2024 include space research, earth observation satellites, 2 satellites contributing to technological development and 2 commercial satellites. As part of the 3 experiments planned to be carried out by GSLV, a meteorological satellite, a navigation satellite, and a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite being developed under the joint NASA-ISRO will be sent to space. Through this, according to the agreement with New Space India Limited (NSIL). GSAT 20 satellite will be launched into orbit.
