
NOB-Nizamabad news: On 04.09.2025, the Sneha Society for Rural Reconstruction celebrated a grand manner at their school for the blind and mentally handicapped in Maruti Nagar. District Education Officer Ashok Kumar participated and addressed the program as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the teaching profession is more unique than all other professions in the world. Teachers not only teach lessons but also those who have good qualities such as service readiness, empathy and patience will become good teachers. He said that teaching students at the primary stage in a regular school is very tough and that teaching the mentally handicapped is a very difficult matter. He said that through education, a new world is introduced to them and teaching the mentally handicapped increases their self-confidence. He appreciated the services provided by Sneha Society to the disabled. District Welfare Officer Rasool B, who was the guest of honor at the program, said that God could not take care of everyone and created Mother, and that Mother serves like a goddess in every home. She said that through Women’s Welfare, Early Childhood Education Centers are being started and children are not only trained at an early age, but also taught good habits and discipline in them. She said that education should be based on values. Through Sneha Society, the mentally disabled have gained fame at the national level through yoga and on Independence Day, the mentally disabled showed their talent through dance at the parade ground. In this program, A. Jyothi Principal and D. Sunitha Teacher working in Sneha Society were honored from the Special School for the Blind, P Rajeshwari Principal, N Vimala Teacher, Soundarya Dance Teacher, and the School for the Mentally Disabled. Similarly, Omkar Lakshmi, A Swathi and Sandeepa, who are working as Anganwadi teachers, were honored. In this program, prizes were given to the Divyang students who worked as teachers. Later, the Divyang students performed cultural programs.
