NOB- Suryapet news: Suryapet District SP Narasimha IPS held a press conference at the Suryapet District Police Office and revealed the details of the case and arrest. No one should believe that gold is available at a low price, it should be remembered that gold is not available at a low price. If someone is offering gold at a low price, identify it as fake gold and provide information to the police, the SP appealed to the people. The SP disclosed the details of the case and said that on the 6th of December 2025, a person named Suryaneni Venkateswara Rao from Hanumakonda filed a complaint with the Suryapet Rural Police Station alleging that he was cheated of fake gold by the first accused Nageswara Rao, the fourth accused Naresh, the seventh accused Adinarayana, the third accused Srinivasa Rao and some others who cheated him of Rs. 12 lakh by using fake gold. A case has been registered at the Suryapet Rural Police Station and an investigation has been initiated. As part of the investigation, on 08.12.2025, while the Suryapet Rural Police were conducting vehicle checks at the Khammam National Highway flyover on the outskirts of Balemla village, some people were seen acting suspiciously in a car and the surrounding area. The police identified them and arrested them. The people in the car fled while the four people there were arrested. When questioned, they were identified as Irri Naresh from Huzurnagar in Suryapet district, Medi Adinarayana, Yogi Reddy and Pitta Nagi Reddy from Prakasam district, Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh state. Going into the details of the case, on the 25th of November 2025, a person named Sudhakar called Irri Naresh and said that a person he knew named Nageswara Rao had gold and that he would sell it at a low price. If we sell that gold for Rs. 90 thousand, he would give us a commission. When Naresh agreed and said that he wanted to see the gold, Irri Naresh and Sudhakar met at the Hi-Tech bus stand in Suryapet town on the 27th of November 2025. Sudhakar and some others, Srinivasa Rao and Chandra Adinarayana, came with him. They all went together to the house of the first accused, Nageswara Rao @ Rajaram, who lives in a house behind Aruna Tiffin Center on the outskirts of Balemla village. At that time, Nageswara Rao and his younger brother Bala were in the house. They showed Naresh the fake gold bills they had and told him that they would give him a 10% commission if he sold them. Thinking that they would get easy money, Naresh agreed to sell the gold and introduced an auto driver named Kannayya to them and told them that the gold was at a low price and that there were no bills for it. Even though Naresh knew that it was fake gold, Kannayya told him that it was real gold and that if he sold it for 90 thousand, he would get a 10% commission. The auto driver named Kannayya told Venkateswara Rao and Leela of Hanumakonda who were traveling in his auto that the gold would be available at a low price, that is, for 90 thousand rupees. Venkateswara Rao, who believed him, agreed to take the gold. On the 6th of December 2025, at three o’clock, Venkateswara Rao took Leela and reached the Seven Hotel. Sudhakar, Adinarayana, Srinivasa Rao, Yoga Reddy, Nagireddy and Chandra, who were there, saw that Venkateswara Rao had five lakh rupees and Mamidi Leela had seven lakh rupees, a total of 12 lakh rupees, and took them to Nageswara Rao’s house in Balemla village. They agreed to buy 10 gold bills and seller took the money of 12 lakh rupees from them and gave them five bills. They agreed to give them five bills after paying the remaining money. Since the election code was in force, the police would conduct checks and Nageswara Rao told them to keep the money with Irri Naresh, hoping that they would be caught. On the 08.12.2025, Nageswara Rao called Naresh and told him to come to the Balemla flyover bridge with the money. Venkateswara Rao said that if he brings the remaining money, he will give the remaining 5 coins. Naresh told Kannayak the same thing. Kannayak, Venkateswara Rao and Ravi came to the Balemla flyover bridge in a car. The police, after getting information about this, arrested them. The SP congratulated G. Rajasekhar, Suryapet Rural CI, N. Balu Nayak, Suryapet Rural SI, Suryapet Rural PS staff Head Constable K. Sudharshan, Constables G. Chaitanya, P.
