She surprised everyone by personally pumping diesel into vehicles. This intriguing incident took place in Sattenapalli, Palnadu district. It is well known that for the past few days, rumors have been circulating widely on social media claiming a fuel shortage and asserting that petrol and diesel are unavailable. Driven by these rumors, motorists have become deeply anxious and have been queuing up in long lines at petrol pumps. Against this backdrop, Palnadu District Collector Kruthika Shukla personally stepped in to dispel the fear prevailing among the public. Conducting surprise inspections at several petrol pumps in Sattenapalli, Collector Kruthika Shukla took the nozzle into her own hands at one particular pump and personally filled customer’s vehicles with diesel. Onlookers were astonished to see the Collector herself pumping fuel. Speaking to the media on this occasion, she issued a clear statement. “There are ample stocks of petrol and diesel across the entire district. Reports suggesting a fuel shortage are merely rumors. Please do not panic by believing false news circulating on social media. Do not cause yourselves unnecessary inconvenience by queuing up at petrol pumps,” she appealed to the public. Collector Kruthika Shukla is receiving an overwhelming response from the public for personally stepping into the field to take action and for the assurances she provided. Residents of Palnadu district breathed a sigh of relief after officials clarified that there is absolutely no shortage in the supply of essential commodities within the district.
