NOB-Hubballi news: A tragedy occurred in Hubballi, Karnataka. A young man brutally murdered the daughter of corporator Niranjan Hiremat of the Congress party with a knife. Niranjan’s daughter Neha (23) entered the campus of BVB College where the accused was studying and attacked her with a knife and stabbed her several times. The scenes related to this were recorded in the CCTV camera there.  According to the police, the deceased Neha (23) is the daughter of Congress corporator Niranjan Hiremat. She is studying Masters of Computer Applications (MCA) first year at BVB College. Accused Fayaz (23) is also Neha’s former classmate. He is an MCA dropout in the same college. Both of them were classmates while studying BCA course. Fayaz, who entered the campus with a knife, attacked Neha 6-7 times indiscriminately with a knife around 4.45 pm on 18.04.2024 and fled. He also got injured in this process. As a result, the college staff rushed Neha to the hospital and the doctors confirmed that Neha was already dead. The accused was arrested by the police and interrogated and revealed many interesting facts.Fayaz, who hails from Belagavi district, said that he loved Neha, but he had been chasing her for days after she rejected his love. However, Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissioner Renuka Sukumar said that it is to be confirmed whether the things said by the accused are true or not. A case of murder has been registered against Fayaz and further investigation is underway. I called to take Neha home from college.
