NOB-Mahabubnagar news: A private travel bus hit a tanker carrying hydrochloric acid on the Machram flyover near Jarcharla in Mahbubnagar district on 20.11.2025 morning, causing panic among the passengers. According to officials, all the passengers were safe. Around 40 passengers were travelling in the bus. The bus was coming from Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh to Hyderabad. The bus hit the tanker from behind, as a result of which hydrochloric acid flowed on the road and smoke spread at the accident site. The bus driver, demonstrating his courage, immediately got all the passengers off, some of the passengers came out through the emergency exit. A few people suffered minor injuries in the accident. Reports said that there was no fire after the accident, due to which a major accident was averted. Fire tenders reached the spot and the employees brought the situation under control. Traffic on National Highway 44 was affected after the accident. Authorities transferred the passengers of the bus that was involved in the accident to Hyderabad in another bus.
