NOB- Puppalgud news: The police have cracked the recent double murder case at Puppalguda hills. Three accused have been arrested. The Narsingi police have arrested three people as part of the investigation into the recent double murder case at Puppalguda hills in Telangana. The police have revealed the reasons for the murders, saying that a woman named Bindu was killed by her friends for objecting to the filming of a video while she was alone, and her boyfriend Ankit Saket for warning her about the same matter. Rajendranagar DCP Chintamaneni Srinivas gave key details about the case. Divya Bindu (30), a resident of Vanasthalipuram from Chhattisgarh, and Ankit, a resident of Nanakramguda from Madhya Pradesh, were murdered on the Puppalguda hills. Both of them work in Nanakramguda. Divya Bindu is married and has three children. Bindu’s husband, who came to know about her extramarital affair with Ankit, shifted her residence to Chintalkunta near Vanasthalipuram. However, Bindu’s behavior did not change. With the help of Ankit, she started prostitution there, which led to more controversies. Thinking this was too much, Ankit’s friends Rahul Kumar, Raj Kumar and Sukhendra Kumar asked Bindu to come to them. With this, Bindu spent time with Ankit in his room in Gachibowli without her husband’s knowledge on January 8th 2025. Rahul Kumar, who spent two more times alone with Bindu, tried to record the scenes with her on his cell phone. She refused. When Ankit immediately brought the matter to his attention, he sternly reprimanded his friend. This led to a bigger fight. Rahul, who was furious with his friend for threatening him like that, turned against Ankit and Bindu. He planned to kill them with the help of his other friends Raj and Sukhendra. As part of that, on January 11th 2025, he called Bindu through Ankit. On the same day, he took Bindu, Ankit, Raj and Sukhendra to a deserted area in the Ananta Padmaswamy hills of Puppalguda in an auto. Everyone drank alcohol there for a while. At this time, Sukhendra took Bindu aside. Rahul and Raj stabbed Ankit, who was alone, with a knife and brutally killed him with a rock. Then, as per the plan, Bindu was also killed. After that, on January 12th 2025, the accused fled to their own state, Madhya Pradesh. When some youths who had gone to fly kites in Puppalguda in open air, they were shocked to see the bodies there. Immediately, the police were informed and they took the bodies into their custody. A case was later registered and a search was launched for the accused. Their whereabouts were later traced using cell phone signals and other evidence. A special team formed on this occasion immediately reached Madhya Pradesh and arrested all three.
