NOB- Bharat news: Another step forward has been taken towards achieving the goal of making India a leader in arms manufacturing and maritime security. The Indian Navy has further strengthened its strength. State-of-the-art warships have joined the Navy’s arsenal. INS Surat, INS Nilgiri, and submarine INS Vaghshir were dedicated to the nation by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Prime Minister Modi on 16.01.2025 launched INS Surat, INS Nilgiri, and INS Vaghshir at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai. Later, he inaugurated the ISKCON project at the Sri Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple in Kharghar, Navy Mumbai. INS Surat is one of the largest and most advanced destroyer warships in the world. This warship was developed under the P15B Guided Missile Destroyer project. In this, the indigenous share is 75 percent. The Navy said that this warship has its own advanced weapon sensor systems. It has its own network centric capability. INS Nilgiri: The first warship in the P 17A stealth frigate project. It was built with stealth technology that makes the enemy invisible. INS Vaghsheer: The sixth and last submarine under the P 75. This warship was developed in collaboration with the Naval Group of France. Three great powers are ready to strengthen the power of the Indian Navy. This will make India’s maritime border impenetrable. The beginning of the new year brought a historic event for the Indian Navy. Prime Minister Modi handed over these three state-of-the-art warships to the Indian Navy at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai. Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Modi said that,  India has been recognized as a reliable and responsible partner in the entire world, especially in the Global South. He made it clear that India does not work in the spirit of expansion, but in the spirit of development. Prime Minister Modi said that it is a matter of pride that the three leading naval warships are being built in India. Today, India is emerging as a major maritime power in the world. Prime Minister Modi said that this is the first time that a destroyer, a frigate and a submarine are working together. It is a matter of pride that all three are Made in India. The biggest thing is that these frontline platforms are Made-in-India products, so, Prime Minister Modi congratulated the entire nation.
