
NOB-Suryapet news: The state government on 01.02.2025 released funds for the Doorajpalli Lingamanthula Swamy Peddagattu Jatara, near the Suryapet district headquarters, which is known as the second largest Jatara in Telangana. Government Principal Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania issued orders allocating Rs. 5 crores for the arrangements for the Jatara. It is known that the priests have decided to organize the Peddagattu Jatara from the 16th to the 20th of February 2025. The Peddagattu Jatara, which is recognized as the second largest Jatara at the state level, is held once every two years. The surroundings of Peddagattu in Durajpalli resemble the Kumbh Mela with lakhs of devotees coming from different states. A huge number of devotees from all over the country are expected to come to the Jatara, and in this context, funds will be used for arrangements such as infrastructure, electricity facilities, drinking water etc.
