NOB_Hyderabad: Popular Telugu YouTuber Anne Rama Nandana, known for her channel ‘Nandoos World’, was detained at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad on Monday.

RGIA police took her into custody based on a lookout notice issued by police

According to the complaint filed by UK resident Shivakranthi Kumar, Nandana and her husband Jagarlamudi Madhukar, through their firm Destiny Consultancy, allegedly collected Rs. 15 lakh promising UK visa extension and Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).

The complainant alleged that a fake CoS document was provided and the promised services were not delivered.

Police have registered a case naming Madhukar as A1, Nandana as A2 and Mohan Rao as A3. It is also alleged that the duo collected Rs. 15 to 20 lakh each from nearly 100 people promising jobs in London.

Nandana was identified by immigration officials upon her arrival from London and handed over to RGIA police for further questioning. She will be handed over to Ibrahimpatnam police.
