NOB-Tirumala news: On the second day of the Srivari Brahmotsavam, on 25.09.2025 night, Sri Malayappa Swamy, dressed in Saraswati attire and wearing a veena, graced the devotees by parading around the streets of Tirumada on a swan chariot. The procession, which took place in grandeur on the streets of Mada, was graced by performances by various art troupes that left a deep impression on the devotees. Sri Malayappa Swamy shines as a man of knowledge in the swan chariot procession. According to legend, the swan, the vehicle of Brahma, is a symbol of knowledge. Its nature is to separate milk and water. This is an indication of the wisdom of the soul. That is why the Upanishads describe the great ones who are united with the Supreme Being as Paramahamsa. The Puranas proclaim that the Lord rides the swan vehicle to remove egoism in the devotees and to grant them the attainment of knowledge and Brahmapada. Meanwhile, on the third day of the Brahmotsavam, on 26.09.2025, Simha Vahanam is performed at 8 am and Mutyapu Pandiri Vahanam is performed at 7 pm.
