NOB-Hyderabad news: Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Following his resignation, he announced that he is joining the BJP. Along with Chadha, two other MPs making a total of three resigned from AAP and joined the BJP. Raghav Chadha, along with Sandeep Pathak and Ashok Mittal, formally joined the BJP fold. In a sensational announcement, Chadha stated that the party had deviated from its core principles and revealed that two-thirds of its MPs were joining the BJP. Expressing their complete confidence in Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, they declared their entry into the BJP. Out of the 10 MPs AAP holds in the Rajya Sabha, 7 are set to merge with the BJP. Prominent figures such as Harbhajan Singh and Swati Maliwal are among those merging with the BJP. Chadha criticized AAP, stating that he had dedicated 15 years of his life to serving the party and practicing honest politics, but the party has now drifted away from those ideals. He explained that, for this reason, he has decided to leave the party and move closer to the people. Recently, AAP had removed Chadha from the position of Deputy Leader of the party. This move created a significant rift between him and the party leadership. Speaking on the matter, former Delhi Minister Atishi alleged that Raghav Chadha had already made up his mind to join the BJP, which is why he had been engaging in anti-party activities. AAP MP Sanjay Singh also leveled similar allegations. Ultimately, these very allegations turned out to be true.
